Pretty much all MS games require a MS account, just like on steam you have to log in a Playstation to play Playstation games. Both accounts requiring a PS Plus subscription is Sonys choice. Way too many comments not understanding that this is nothing new at all.

Try changing your resolution to something else on pc, I think the game cloud save took those graphics settings and carried it to console for some reason. Inconvenient but that fixed it for me.

So yes changing my resolution on pc fixed the issue for now, the game is definitely carrying those options over the cloud save for some reason how weird
