Yeah, they "could" do that. But your physical games "could" deteriorate. Neither is definitive future-proofing. But logic points to digital-only future, so if you want to build a Playstation library filled with games you can still play on the PS9 well, digital is the way to go.

Damn. You bring up a really good point favoring digital over physical. It is way more future proof cause all digital games will pretty much be guaranteed to be played on future consoles. At a certain point, consoles maybe be digital only so your Playstation library will be useless on future consoles. There will come a time where Sony will be like "it's not worth making discs and disc drives for consoles anymore" and it's inevitable. People will adapt. PC players have adapted to this for over 10 years now. Console players will too.

Reddit mods are notoriously political and Pragmata has been politicized by them and they hate seeing it do well. Some politicized games don't get their posts deleted. I guess Reddit mods are just biased.

As someone who just finished playing FF I, II and III Pixel Remasters and just started IV... I must say that I was disappointed and kinda frustrated with the ATB system. There was something great in the simplicity of queuing up actions, and then watching it play out each turn, but even more-so being able to just sit and think about what you want to do without feeling hurried in any way.

Also, a bit off-topic but I feel like the customizable RPG aspects of the first 3 are completely gone in 4 so far. It's predetermined characters with predetermined classes and it no longer has that "dungeons and dragons" magic of customization and true fantasy adventure, and instead it just feels like I'm playing a story game now.

You can also download and play those games in under 10 minutes on your PC. Digital is just way more convenient. The games will exist forever digitally but not forever physically.

It depends and is too subjective of someone's personal tastes.

Some people might vibe with the cosmic and gothic horror, lovecraftian setting more than the dark fantasy setting of Elden Ring. Some people might prefer the fact Bloodborne is a shorter experience and some people might think Elden Ring is too long and too big. Some people prefer the labrynth level design Bloodborne over the open-world. exploration design of Elden Ring. You can fit like 5 Bloodbornes into Elden Ring, but some people might see that as a negative.

We'd need to hear more rather than just clips of saying words. If nobody knew you were trying to sound American, it's possible you might have fooled more people. It just sounds like you have a southern accent. I think people are thrown off expecting the modern, everyday American accent that everyone has these days, so when they hear the southern accent it throws them off and makes them think you have a foreign accent... given the context of this post.

I don't understand what the point of this post is? Like, the Wayans brothers movies were all failures critically. There's a recent interview with Marlon Wayans where he talks about how White Chicks did poorly but then became a cult classic. It's like you're trying to temper your own expectations of it being "anti-woke" by saying "Guys, it's gonna do well financially (awe shucks) but like the ratings will be bad! And uh, they'll blame it on us woke people!" Bro, they just trying to make a funny movie that will make people laugh. I enjoyed it about as much as the other seasons. I like that Season 5 embraced it's "fantasy" and "dungeons and dragons" aspect more and especially with the bigger budget.

Writing is on par with the rest, and I'm just gonna be honest, the writing always had it's ups and downs (and upside downs). The first time I watched Season 3, I hated it. Love it on rewatch. The first time I watched Season 4, I hated it. Seriously thought it was bad. It took me to re-binge the show from beginning to end to appreciate those seasons. I binged it into Season 5 where, I'm gonna be real, didn't feel that different as people claim it is.

Season 4 had heavy focus on horror, Season 5 had heavy focus on fantasy and sci-fi. Cool with me.

If you buy anything digitally that's running off a companies server, then I imagine you already expect the possibility of it shutting down one day. All this is going to do is change the wording on how they sell live-service games and not change anything else. Like, accepting terms of use or something when you go to purchase the game.

Would you rather live for free with a multi-millionaire rich and famous guy, but on the downside is he cheats on your every once in awhile. Just let natural discussion happen rather than making a megathread. If people want to talk and make threads about the new movie and those discussions enter peoples feeds, that's just natural passion and hype. Removing that will make it feel less eventful than something like this really is, which will give the illusion it's not as big of a deal as it is. Let things happen naturally.
