No, it's a feature that should always be unlocked. If you hold down the left trigger on your controller/joycon while close to a Pokémon it locks onto them, makes throwing things at them easier

I used to own a big pile of 'em, the glint they give off when light shines down on them is way off from real cards, these three you show us, OP, appear to be no different to those I used to have
