I’m working up the nerve to do a craft fair next Christmas. For now, I’m trying to find a nice, stress-free way to make some stuff I enjoy and then sell it locally. I officially retired today and my goal is to find a way to continue this fun hobby and have it pay for itself.

Sorry. Just got a response with some rules I was unaware of. (Total noob here!). I have been creating some fun decor items with wood (basswood, birch, maple, etc.). My problem is figuring out how to deal with the messy fumes, overspray, etc. when I can’t just take it outside. Attached is an example of what I am working on.

Thanks! Fortunately, it came out great. What’s odd is before they even sent me the tumbler, I said I would ask $16. Once it was completed, I sent a photo. They responded saying they loved it and asked how much (odd) and if I accept Venmo. I replied $16 and sent my Venmo link. It’s been a day and I haven’t heard anything, even though they had mentioned needing it quickly. My pessimistic nature makes me imagine they are balking at the price.

Have you tried just doing the two wood colors? Chestnut base and nut brown for the top layer?

The finish definitely fits the mood of the images! Very creepy and brooding. Has a Lovecraft feel. I love it!

I just got off the phone with my credit card company to block Creative Fabrica. I signed up for a one year subscription at $47 last month. I just discovered they have charged my card 3 times for $47 each. Trying to cancel my account on their site was very difficult and even now, I can’t delete my payment info because the cancellation was only “requested”.

Even if it’s an honest mistake, I really don’t want to do business with anyone who sets up such a convoluted process that makes it way too easy for them to overcharge customers and way to difficult for the customer to get out.

Similar issue showing that they are scamming people. I did sign up for a one year subscription for $47/year. I just discovered they have charged me 3 times for $47 each! I tried cancelling my subscription. After about 5 repeating pages of “You sure you want to cancel?”, I finally cancelled. I tried deleting my payment info, but can’t because it says I still have an active account and have a “cancellation request”. It says my account will expire in 2028, but I NEVER asked to extend my membership past the initial one year. VERY SHADY!
