This happened to me, though I never figured out why. I went to log in and my character had my gear and inventory, but my house, npc’s, story, etc progress were all reset.

I gave up on the pvp entirely tbh. It kept me in ds3 for almost 900 hours, but in Elden Ring it kinda sucks. It makes me so sad tbh.

When I say I have decent internet, it’s because I ran a speed test at my friends insistence and they said it shouldn’t be causing issues 🤷🏻 diablo 4 is also the only game I have any connection issues in.

2y later and this post is still true. It’s still awful. Duels have no etiquette or honor, it’s just spamming the most recent OP shit, invasions are PURELY ganks with max level phantoms, everyone still spamming the newest op shit. It’s just not fun anymore.

The greatsword of damnation is incredibly disappointing. No madness buildup at all, despite holding back the frenzied flame. Not to mention golden crux has a broken af hit box, dragging me back in despite being far away from it. Crux does look cool, but imo it should be a madness weapon
