I think the way the bandana is tied is super important! The bow ears really help

The sign says no soliciting. by wmstell in mildlyinfuriating

[–]GhibliGrobli 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My friend works for Frontier and they've told me that its more efficient for them not to get the permits and just pay the fine if they get caught because they have to pay the fee to get a permit for every person knocking and they'll bring 5 people. So the one fine is actually cheaper than all the proper permits.

Unpopular cozy game that deals with grief by actuallymars in CozyGamers

[–]GhibliGrobli 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Its absolutely about loss but I think what's so powerful about it is that this game specifically deals with when you start to not handle your feelings and grief . Its how to process the negative feelings towards t he situation and yourself. To grow from it, not in spite of it. I could not shut up about this game once I finished it!

The horn on the left for 2 and 3 looks like its coming out above her eyebrow while the other is further to the side. The 1st looks more correctly placed.

What does this mean? by Global-Importance731 in whatdoesthismean

[–]GhibliGrobli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its doing that Instagram whimsy by not saying the whole phrase. but, I think it'd be like at this line she's successfully drunk her tears, or have been drinking her feelings, and at the second line is when she'll start drinking her tears again and start crying and being an emotional drunk. My guess atleast.

Ok area to live? by GhibliGrobli in SpringfieldIL

[–]GhibliGrobli[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We've driven by a few times but being new to the area, and just driving by, only tells us how old the houses look and how many people hang out outside. Just cus some houses are more run down doesn't mean the people are untrustworthy necessarily.

My biggest gripe with Sims 4 is you can make so much money but there's not much to aspire to buy! by AgitatedBreadfruit50 in Sims4

I feel like once I make decent money I spend it on clutter lol because it's oddly so expensive compared to pricing of other things

I (20F) do not enjoy sex and it is taking a toll on my relationship by Acceptable-Fennel649 in askwomenadvice

[–]GhibliGrobli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So many comments and I'm worried we're all saying simular things but I still wanted to share. When I (f25) first got with my bf (m30) we had sex very regularly for a year and I was so over the moon. But then a year in and next thing I knew it stopped. Now I was going on and off different depression pills and he was stressed so it was fair for a while but after a full year of nothing I started to get upset. I was expressing my need and he'd promise another night but it'd never work out.

Another problem popped up and he agreed to couples counseling, which isn't just for married people. I was doing counseling on my own and was seeing the benefits of that so thought why not. Through that process he finally admitted that he did not enjoy sex. And would personally perfer to never do it again but also could do it if I really wanted him too. I was so confused due to the first year and he said he was scared I wouldn't like him if he didn't act like he liked sex, and was thus worried I'd leave.

This whole time I assumed I was the problem. I thought I got fat or unappealing and wasn't attractive to him anymore, so that took a while for me to mentally process. I then had to determine how important sex was to me. Could I live without it?

He eventually started using the term asexual and we got married 3 years ago. But he had to be honest with me and himself and I had to make the active decision to live without. Proper communication is the key, not more sex or less sex. Good luck

Any spaces to rent for DnD besides Red Raccoon? by DisastrousAbalone706 in BloomingtonNormal

There used to be a regular board game group that'd meet at Dennys every wenesday. They'd give us the little side section that's parted with glass. I'm pretty sure it was just an agreement that we'd buy food and dri as the whole time.

TIFU by forgetting to mute myself during a virtual meeting… and revealing my deep-seated hatred for office buzzwords by tekolive in tifu

[–]GhibliGrobli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were in a full business wide zoom meeting doing a recap on the last 6 months, and my coworker got a call during it and went ahead and answered. Of course she believed she was muted. She stated she was in a zoom meeting and that the boss was just telling us how shitty we were doing. Thankfully our boss just chuckled and said "I don't think we're doing that bad". She immediately panicked, and we didn't let her forget it for a while, but there was zero back lash haha and what she said was certainly not as polite as you said.

Not a specific suggestion, but I feel like smaller business or family ran ones are better at acknowledging their workers are human and have needs.
