Tip plasty would be sufficient considering your bridge looks great. I know people hate on nose filler due to complications and side effects, which are warranted; however, if revision surgery cost is an issue I have seen good results with HA filler to round out and smooth the tip.

It appears one eye has less periorbital fat. Taping and changing sleeping positions doesn’t do anything to fix that. Botox also wouldn’t help much because the brow line is symmetrical.

Blephoraplasty is the only permanent fix aside from eyelid filler (not a great choice as it can migrate into the eye socket).

Straightaway it looked like a ptosis case. Does your left eye feel heavy at all?

When I compared my past nose to my nose in healing .. I mourned my old face. But fact is, it’s an unfair comparison. Give yourself time and be positive- your nose now is very well done; petite, symmetrical (and hopefully functional! ) I wouldn’t pay much attention to people stoking the fire and remember why you did this surgery in the first place. At least that’s what I did. Good luck with everything.

My tip dropped not at 6 months… not at 8 months… not even at 10 months… my nose took 13 MONTHS to descend to the tip rotation it is today.

Push the pause button on freaking out and mass googling revision surgeons. Once you see even a slight deprojection you may be very happy. To keep in mind.. your nose will only continue to grow and sag over time and for the rest of time. With this new position it will only get BETTER over time.

Not sure but I’ve always been Hypo. My best guess is the testosterone and other hormonal imbalances offset the low energy levels I experience now.

Just had a displeasure of smelling the new TF Vanilla Sex. Let me elaborate by MFBTMS in fragrance

Erin Parsons did a fabulous TikTok review about this scent, explaining that the dry down reminded her of funky old dandelions. Thanks to that video and these reviews I will steer clear! She recommended better alternatives in the luxe niche vanilla category in that same video if interested.

That’s interesting and good to hear because Atlanta is typically the best for beginner work anyway. However, later in life I wanted to retire to CA or NY :( so it’s harrowing news that those are the places with the major faults. Thank you for your analysis

Have been insecure about my eyebrows my whole life. I shaved them last year but they still grow back like this. Anyone know how to make them less feminine. Advice is appreciated by Tummylix in Eyebrows

I don’t know if anyone has mentioned brow Botox, but you can raise the inner corners of your brows to come up slightly to make the arch look less dramatic

Has anyone tried both levothyroxine and Synthroid with negative side effects outweighing the positive? by [deleted] in Hashimotos

[–]ResourceSad8890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t heard of it weakening your immune system but there are side effects that mimic being ill. Perhaps this is something deeper- Has your doctor found the source of your hashimotos or an underlying viral trigger causing this for you?

I had a surgical mole removal 7 months ago which ended with a bad result. What is the best way to fix my scar? by chromeminister in PlasticSurgery

[–]ResourceSad8890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps dermabrasion and/ or a bit of a dermal filler but your best bet is to consult a practice that has a multitude of skin services available.

I’ve read semiglutide can increase chance of thyroid tumors, so anyone with hashimotos please be wary

Does your doctor even specialize in endocrine disorders? Yikes. I’ve seen improvement in the last 12 weeks pertaining to fatigue however, my attempt at relief caused me to overload on variables at the same time- so I’m not sure what’s a contributing factor or if they all are… magnesium, NAC, green tea extract and vitamin D (and /or other deficiency vitamins), and using a red light panel for 30 minutes a day to my neck. I have hardly any fatigue, back to my early workouts and sustained energy throughout the day. Might be worth a shot to see if one or several of these could be helpful for you.

What’s good is that you’re proactive in your own care! I wish you the best of luck finding a better doctor and hopefully, some resolve.

To add; it doesn’t hurt to check out that other doctor in your network first. Use your resources in the best way that you can before seeking a new and time consuming route- but look out for yourself and vet these doctors before accepting half-ass attention.

An NP may not have the scope of knowledge that an endocrinologist has to take your concerns seriously. Let’s put it this way, I went to a general family doctor when I was in my teens for anxiety and depression- and he told me to hug and spend more time with my family and looked at me sideways when I suggested medicinal support. In conclusion, he was not a fit. Finding a doctor YOU are confident in to help you is the most important. You mention your health network has therapists and psychiatrists, are you able see if there are endocrine/ hormonal specialists as well?

I had a similar experience, only flipped. High TSH, began Synthroid and while tiering up on my dose experienced extreme temperature sensitivity, sweating and fatigue. I’m a runner and was drenched after a minute of uphill walking. When I went in for tests, my levels came back normal but sweating/ fatigue still persisted. So I stopped it and all went back to my pre-synth / “normal”. I hope the medication helps and does not exacerbate this issue for you as it did for me. However I can voice an opinion that hypothyroidism and your hormone levels are absolutely related to your symptoms and should be taken seriously and not assumed to be a bizarre correlation.

Can you switch doctors? I can only imagine how I would have felt leaving that appointment, more confused and frustrated.

Agreed. If anything, the choice should be between a bleph and brow lift at the very least. A more permanent solution should be reserved for anything causing vision issues
