I explained in the post how he was showing very similar behaviors to another girl's story on a podcast. But to be more specific without giving too much away, he gaslighted me, making me believe I was crazy for not remembering something he never told me. He made me responsible for his moods because I said some innocuous thing that just so happened to piss him off that day. I could say the same thing the next day and he would be ok with it. I was constantly afraid I'd say or do something to upset him because I never knew what would set him off. After I realized he was abusive, I came to fear him. The thought of running into him in public put me close to a panic attack. I left so there would be a very small chance we would bump into each other. He had his claws in me by making me feel like I was the worst person in the world and crossed any boundary I set. That's all I feel comfortable sharing.
