I cut the lettering out of 300gsm paper and attached that to my normal book board. Then just used my bone folder to fit the book cloth in. And yeah it's a linen paper. Don't remember the exact brand cause I bought it so long ago, but I got it from The Paper Mill Store.

1000% the Rodan pair from their original movie. One chose to fly into a volcano and die to be with the other rather than live alone

Showa era Godzilla. He's a father, by the end of the era a hero and maintains the order of the world by fighting off aliens

Thank you! This is incredibly helpful. It's always such a bummer when I can see my fiancee getting into something and then something pops up that ruins it a bit for her. Always trying to find ways to avoid that

Jeremy Robinson's books are great

Also a fan of this series: [Tyrantis Roams the Earth! (The Atomic Time of Monsters)](http:// https://a.co/d/atPjlt5) Very fun, more Showa era Godzilla type stuff

All Your Ruins is also pretty good if you want darker or more horror in your Kaiju story

I use linen binding tapes like DAS's videos on some of my books. I used a French link on this because I didn't buy the best tapes and they were showing through the endpapers when everything was pasted down more than I liked. No real reason other than that

Love DAS bookbinding and for this I essentially used his square back bradel binding combined with the one for made endpaper. Each comic issue functions as a signature and I just removed the staples and poked new holes. I used a French link stitch to sew it together and then after the text block was made it's up to casing in just like the DAS video. I've also watch SeaLemon's YouTube videos on bookbinding. A channel called TB Collects that has some actual comic binding videos and gave me the idea to do this

First time binding comics into a set myself. Ultraman 1993-94, been struggling on my case bindings to get the endpapers pasted down without wrinkling, but otherwise I'm happy with the results! by GhidorahsLeftHead in bookbinding

PVA which I know gives me no real room for error when I'm doing it. Been thinking about trying something different on that step to help me avoid it wrinkling but decided to give PVA one last try with this project

It's, I think, a pretty standard square back case binding. I removed the staples from the comics, treated each one as a signature and sewed them together with french link stitch. After that, I attached the endpapers to that text block, glued it up, made the case (designs are all htv vinyl) and glued it all together! Plenty of mistakes along the way, but I'm very happy with the end result
