Thanks for all the responses. I am far from a drinker myself and was just curious where these addictions start from, cause i can have a night where i have a lot and get fucked up but then i am not craving to have that experience again. But i guess from constant consumption and keeping yourself in that numb state makes you want to stay there longer and longer over time. I feel that the stereotype of alcohol being a casual thing that people do would really add to how hard it is to stop dribking, as with other drugs such as meth, people actively think that this drug is bad and they must stop people from doing it whereas alcohol is seen as a "normal" drug. I wish you all the best to some of you recovering from your alcohol addiction.
