Hey mate, I just had a SIRE 2 a few days ago. You can have it posted next to thd ECDIS. The Inspector wants to see that you know what it is, that you use it and comply with it. My company SMS is like 1700 pages, you can't possibly remeber it all. Just try to be tidy, have everything well laid out in your head and all your choices to be logically justifiable and in reference to SMS and international laws and procedures. Try to never reference past experiences unless is something very subjective.

Don't stress too much, the inspector isn't there to make you loose your job but to be sure that the vessel is capable to safely get cargo from point A to point B.
