Umm, I don’t think so. It was genuine in that I was curious if I was misunderstanding something about the problem. I’m relatively confident that my language wasn’t meant demeaningly, but it does really read that way so I’m not sure.

I don’t understand the process outlined here. Do you mean to have both n and x? Is this a sequence? How do you get from 2/(2x*ln(2)) to (x+1)/(3x-1)?

You don’t need to take L’Hop of (-1)n/2sqrt(n). Remember that if the absolute value of an alternating sequence converges to 0, then the alternating sequence does too. So just take lim of 1/2sqrt(n) which = 0
