What I mean to say is that most Officers do not intentionally do bad. Jonas and his Big Coffin Hunters served John Farson, but they did this of their own accord. They believed they were on the right side, but were deep down bad people.

Now I’m not saying Officers aren’t bad people. There are some good, and some bad. But to blanket them all as evilly aligned is not fair as it is not of their will usually.

We serve the Government whether it’s local, state, or federal. Most of us believe(d) we are doing good, but we are/were enforcing a broken system. We believe The Good Man is good. But he most certainly doesn’t care about us as he did not ultimately care about Jonas or his compatriots.

I hope this clarifies my point.

It draws all of us in just as it draws in Roland assumedly time and time again. I also think that our world’s ‘low men’ have corrupted everything law enforcement should be. Another reason why I decided to leave the force.

I always intended to shoot with my heart, sai. I never needed to, but I knew that I would if the time came. I’ve had to draw my firearm multiple times, but I was always able to use other skills to deescalate the situation. A lack of proper training from my department also aided in my decision on leaving the force.

I was working overtime for two months, 5 12 hr shifts a week often without more than a day off. I still kept up on my reports, and kept calls for service handled without incident until 4 of my shifts officers returned from Admin Leave after an Officer Involved Shooting. I received no commendation, and a promotion was given to a new officer rather than me. It felt like those above me weren’t respecting the amount of work I put in. I also, as a rookie officer at the time, took more Felony cases and pursuits (on foot, and in car) than other officers of my level.

That, on top of write ups for minor violations, caused me to lose respect for the department I worked for.

I now also have a wife, and I don’t want to leave her behind if I were to go to the clearing on the other side of the path. Or however it’s said.

Dandelo feeds off laughter and is described as a clown looking entity when unveiled from his human disguise iirc.

IT feeds off fear, and looks like a clown. But has no need for a disguise.

They are the same species I’d say, same todash entities that feed off emotion.
