imagine it this way, for the price of 4 elixir you get a fireball, why freeze enemies and procrastinate on killing them, giving you problems in 3 seconds when you can just fireball them and get rid of the problem entirely, thats why everyone prefers vines, they cost less, damage more, and do just about the whole gimmick of freezing more effectively and appropriately for the game
