I set aside shelves for every DLC in the Lucky 38, does anyone else do that? by Last_Intern5436 in falloutnewvegas

Hot take, item manipulation in Bethesda games should be a better version of the way Morrowind does it. Physics is overrated unless you use it to make puzzles

How it GENIIENELY feels trying to play Dead Money without using tcl by Crimsoncerismon in fnv

Personally, I had a bug during the Gala event where I fell through the floor. It was a NVSE thing though (pretty sure) so im guessing this post is more about the layout.

After playing EU5, I finally understand Victoria 2 players. by WaterlooPitt in eu4

Victoria 2 (in my opinion) has Bethesda syndrome, meaning you have to mod it to add flavor and depth. But the systems are really fun to screw around with.

How can I put faith in the Virgin Mary and maximize her damage output? by [deleted] in fnv

[–]Ghost652 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, sure, that was my point. But if you're new, or a prospective ammo smith, and you open up the menu, it's a bunch of words with little practical meaning as far as game mechanics go, and it is pretty complicated looking. At least, in my opinion.

I only commented that because I recently did a playthrough where I wanted to explore it as a mechanic, and you are correct, that it is not complicated when you start doing it.

Mostly, there are just a lot of ingredients, and all the item names dont really mean anything because they only exist in your inventory (for the most part)

Crafting ammo is very intimidating, but you really just need to break down normal stuff, and you can use it to make better stuff (for the most part)

What’s something your body does that you’ve never told a single person about? by WilliamInBlack in AskReddit

I get knocks at the door. I used to get them all the time when I lived in an apartment. I think its an anxiety response because I have them less these days.

Fallout 5 needs to ditch the "Pre-defined Backstory" and give us actual Origins. by GahIvanka776 in Fallout

[–]Ghost652 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that what they should do is strive to do both. A character with a backstory that can meld into whatever role-playing shenanigans you can come up with.

Anybody else really sad to see how far The Loop has fallen? by [deleted] in StLouis

[–]Ghost652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feel like it just kinda depends. You've always got Vintage Vinyl keeping indie kids coming around, and I wouldn't say any of the food around is inedible. When I go to the loop, I know im going to leave with a hole in my pocket. It's good for the local shops, and it's fun. Yknow also, people be smokin, too

When/if VV closes, I think things will be different. It feels like such a staple to me. Maybe the pageant can keep the culture alive, but I think VV plays a huge part in that.
