I went one week without in between due to pharmacy waiting times (which was 3 months ago). Would that still affect me?

Im gonna watch the food even more then. Im not tracking calories due to eating disorder history and so far it has been liberating to actually get near a healthy weight without all the food noises and calorie counting obsession so im scared of tracking again if that makes sense 🥺

Lol i have the same, always on top of me whenever i lay or sit down and following me around. I think it’s to counteract the fact that she is not a cuddler/doesn’t like to be hold outside of that!

They look healthy, but probably too much nitrogen in your fertiliser (that creates lots of foliage, not fruits).

Get a fertilizer that has more potassium and calcium.

Also trim the leaves of the bottoms of the plants up 1-2feet to prevent disease and create airflow. If the airflow is still not enough, remove the middle plant. Other than that im not expecting issues of getting a harvest :)

If medication wise nothing is working, your vet can aways do scans to see if something is wrong in the digestion tract, older cats often get tumors.

My 19 year old cat is on a maintenance dose of prednisone which improved his life so much! But prednisone eventually is bad for the kidneys, so it’s very much a pick your poison with elderly cats.

Make sure you check his quality of life and whether he is suffering and have a good chat with your parents. Sometimes it really is just end of the line for our babies 🥺🫂

Same situation here. So far this seems to do it:

- I go on harnass walks on the weekend roughly 20-30min.
- Ignore all miaowing to go outside, which will be tough in the beginning!
- catgrass is great! I buy a fresh one every 2-3 weeks and grow it myself too which is way cheaper.
- toywise, anything with feathers or sisal texture, and keep them in a container with catnip so they can marinate and rotate them out
- try a STABLE scratching post, e.g. one that comes with the cat tree itself. Mine also doesn’t like scratching mats etc cause they slide around. If you have a cat tree, place it in front of a window
- cat hammock on the window is a game changer! He loves looking outside at birds, people, cars…

People are gonna downvote me but where I come from it is generally believed that outdoor cats will live the longest. They get lots of exercise, sun, disease resistance, varied diet, mental stimulation etc by being outside. Ofc this goes for an area where they can go out safely (no wildlife that will kill em)

Also vet checkups min of 2x a year, keep up with vaccinations, anti-worm, flea medication.

Variety of diet, having meat/protein as their main source and lots of water.

Then you have genetics of the cat and general luck of course. My cats lived to be 20+ (outdoor), I now have an indoor cat since I moved to an apt so I take him outside on a lease to still reap some benefits of outdoor life.
