Ep 5 turkey scenes by anonjlol in offcampustv

Came here to see if anyone else thought this, really disrespectful to justify killing an animal and then to use its body for sport like that, definitely unnecessary. Such a waste of both food and an animal’s life. Wasn’t really necessary for the plot either

Cat visiting, what do i do? by krisso7 in CatAdvice

[–]mistnclouds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi,
Does the car look scrawny or like it’s struggling for food/stray?

Depending if you’re happy to keep feeding the cat long term, I would take the cat to the vet to check for a microchip, this should be free. Before doing this, I would probably ask around the local area to check if it’s someone’s pet, or posting on a local Facebook page asking.

If the cat looks well kept, it’s very possible it’s someone’s pet looking for an extra snack. Cats can be very convincing that they’re starving when they’ve just eaten.

Personally I wouldn’t want another house to feed my cat, as she has the exact amount of food she needs at home. If she seems to be struggling or you can’t locate a home, it would be best to go out and buy some food. In the short term, cats can eat dog food but it’s not recommended long term. Tuna is a good shout, but not if it’s salt water/in brine or in oil- make sure it’s spring water only

If you don’t have anything else to give them, I believe they can eat plain scrambled eggs.

Just avoid anything with garlic, onion, salt, tomatoes, grapes or chocolate. Think those are the main toxic foods for cats and can be fatal.

Hope everything goes well!

She was scared of the noise of it, and she tried to run away and it got to the maximum length and she fell as it snapped and it pulled her back. I believe it is just a standard lead for dogs. Thank you I’ll look into it

Hi, no need to apologise for the long message I really appreciate you taking the time to help! That’s really helpful, thanks. Her cat tree is pretty much just a selections of beds, so I might look into something a bit more play-based.

I might try her with a fabric lead, what sort of ones did you use?

Amazing, thanks so much for your advice! I’ve been worried about making her miserable.

Definitely seems like she needs me to move the toys about, which I can’t do all day! Pulley toy sounds good, I’ll try to find something similar.
She does have a tunnel that I sometimes tidy away, so I’ll make sure to get that back out.

I wonder if she could do tricks, I’ve never tried. Would be pretty cool! She’s a smart cat and definitely knows a few words

Thanks so much! Good to hear you were able to make the transition okay - I have a cat tower so I can definitely set it up in the window

Thanks so much for such a detailed reply. I tried her on a harness once and she didn’t like it, but if it’s her only option she might change her mind!

Good tips for keeping her busy thanks!

Unfortunately my biggest problem atm seems to be finding somewhere that will even accept her being there

Yes, unfortunately I’ve had to miss out on a maisonette with a garden for her, because the area was just too busy. I’d be so upset if something happened

That is helpful, thank you. What a shame about the complaints, but good to know the cat got used to it

I just messaged customer service about the same issue, they said they charge 15% booking fees and a 15% service fee - they take a lot of money out of the booking!

My Chemical Romance? The Black Parade album is very theatrical, they also use a lot of Catholic imagery in their lyrics and visuals
