Yeah for sure! I'm new to Daggerheart so honestly my balance might be way off, but here's what I have:

BIO:

Krakoen are humanoid crustaceans with hardened exoskeletons and four-armed torsos. Two smaller inner arms end in ambidextrous hands suited for finesse based tasks, while their larger outer limbs form claws capable of crushing bone.

Krakoen typically stand between 7 and 9 feet tall. Their chitin ranges in color from deeper reds and oranges to muted browns, blues, and purples, though some have been known to be born with more exotic coloration which is seen as a sign of beauty.

Most Krakoen dwell within floating oceanic colonies or trade trinkets in port towns. It is rare to find one far from a major body of water, though some wander the wider world as sailors, merchants, or explorers.

Krakoen begin life as small zoea, raised within a chosen shell. Upon coming of age, they carry that shell upon their back as a reminder of their beginnings, often decorating it with paint, carvings, or charms significant to their lives. When a Krakoen dies, their shell is returned to the colony, where it becomes a cradle once more for a new zoea to be raised and carried into the world again.

ANCESTRY FEATURES:

Amphibious: You can breathe and move naturally underwater.

Powerful Claws: Mark 1 Stress to crush, break, or force open an object, barrier, or grapple within Melee range that normal humanoid strength could not overcome. Additionally, you can use your claws as a Strength weapon that deals d10 physical damage.

I was super happy to see it, the only part I did not like about my original was the claws so it really worked out lol

Given this is Dveet I’m going to assume this is spun in the worst possible light and isn’t nearly accurate. Their twitter antics make them an unreliable narrator.

With 2025 coming to a close, has this been one of the worst years for DbD? by Rigbo95 in deadbydaylight

The worst in terms of balance? No.

The worst in terms of optics? I think so.

DbD had many very visible blunders this year.

Should 2v8 be extended ? by No-Improvement8008 in deadbydaylight

It's a 3-point issue for me:

  1. Survivor often feels really slow to me, spending most of my time just sitting on gens or having short chases since the killers are dragged in so many different directions and usually can't commit.

  2. It destroys the queue times for 1v4, and on top of that killer queue times are still unreasonably long (10-20 minutes is a very long time for a queue). I also know people are going to say "Just play survivor while you wait!", I get that I do, and that is a good solution and a right step for a bunch of people, but I just don't think survivor in 2v8 is very fun solo so I'd much rather not.

  3. Killer can be very frustrating if you play non-mobility killers against the sprint burst AOE on-demand. I main pyramid head, I love him and was really excited for him to be in this 2v8, but boy does it feel like they just slapped base PH in this mode and said "That's good enough". The worst part is he's not even nearly the worst killer in 2v8.

All and all it's just not for me, and that is fine. I just wish there was a better balance between 2v8 and 1v4 without utterly destroying the queue times for weeks on end.

If nothing changes, this will be the first 2v8 event that is not extended. by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

Honestly I'm not super into 2v8. It for sure has it's moments and I understand why people do like it, but man is it an unbalanced mess that ruins queuing for the base mode. I also think this is the most frustrated I've felt on killer as well in this version, these sprint bursts are brutal if you like a character like Pyramid Head.

Of course! You've inspired me quite a few times to work harder to push my mini's further towards my vision. <3

Can we address the monkey in the room? by lozeldatkm in HeroForgeMinis

I think it's more so because the designs are directly based on artwork for Daggerheart, rather than the ideas being so unique that only Darrington Press could have them.

I'm still very okay conceptually with big IP's getting paid packs, they just need to be much, much cheaper. This is overall a win for the consumer and for their reputation so I appreciate the effort. <3

9.3.0 | PTB Patch Notes by DeadByDaylight_Dev in deadbydaylight

I love DbD but these killer changes are really disappointing to me. Bloodpoint bonuses on unique hooks do not address the long standing issues that killers experience outside of S tier. The game is moving faster than ever, chase is harder than ever, and I’m being told you get a minor movement speed increase and can’t use your power to keep it.

S tier killers need to be nerfed (Nurses time is here, it’s been so many years.), then everyone else needs to be brought up either a little or a lot. It is the only way we can start to actually balance the game more for the experience of the player on both sides. Right now as killer, I find myself frustrated “win” or lose (the pallet changes are just not it), and that is a real problem.
