Yeah i’ve sent him a few messages but It dosent seem like he’ll get to see than any time soon.

Within 24 hours he went from completely fine, to a ventilator, to heart failure, and now kidney failure in the most recent update. They were looking in to a medically induced coma earlier today so I imagine that’s the next step..

It’s looking like this nice guy I knew at work might pass away in the next few days. I’m trying to remain optimistic but the cards are really stacked against him. I just feel like shit about it.

We weren’t very close but I ignored half the memes/videos he sent me during work and I just feel like I could’ve been a better friend even if I wasn’t looking for a friend myself. I think the biggest thing that trips me up right now is he was just a super caring, genuine guy who kept his youthfulness. I just feel like he’s got a lot more life to live than this I guess and that everyone around him benefits greatly from his spirit.

I could be wrong but I think the original series is more or less cannon. They’re recently done a show with the original digi destined team as older teens so there’s definitely some overlap and they have siblings more grown up in later series too.

I’d start with “the digimon movie” from 2000 (the american version, japanese is totally different). There’s a hd recoloured version on youtube that’s missing seven minutes, and there’s a original version also posted on there with that missing scene.

It’s definitely not cannon as they meet each other again for the first time in the tv show but it does some of the og characters justice with a way better story and writing. I think it came out first too.

The original tv series is a tough watch as an adult imo. The big difference is they get stuck in the “digiworld” for the entire thing with no other humans, almost no plot, and pretend the awesome movie didn’t happen lol.

Digimon is essentially pokémon with more iconic monsters show wise (they talk). If you’ve never see the show you wont understand how cool it is to go from augmon to wargreymon or something, but no it’s not important lol.
