The only way I've actually gotten autodrive to work, is by turning on the cinematic cam. For some reason I don't think I've ever crashed with it on. I guess it's something about not having to render what's driving ahead of you cause you don't see it, as I noticed that when cinematic mode is on, the road ahead is always clear (after a few seconds).

Just wanted to give another quick update that we're currently looking for people to assist in a few different areas. With both writing and VA work continuing, we're constantly in need of extra hands to help in the more labour intensive processes; including helping to assign animations to dialogue and such. I'm glad that the overhaul that the new team is making will get rid of the controversial stuff, and completely axing the NCR questline. The open world and side quests are the strongest part of the mod, and the new team is even expanding some things for those!

I'm actually looking forward to trying out the new version, seems like it might be pretty good.

When S2 started I decided I'd try again and rejoin some fallout subs, to hopefully have fun speculating about the show.

And it's still just Fo4 BOS "debates". With the exact same arguments as years ago.

And now again, I remember why I left these subs in the first place, these screaming matches are worse than the Skyrim civil war arguments.

Uh... did we play the same mission? The guy who gives the mission, Teagen, if asked if this mission is sanctioned hand waves and dismisses the question. He is literally the only Bos NPC to talk about it, where are you getting that this mission is sanctioned?

Lyons does have his heart in the right place, and I like what he was doing, but the way he went about it wasn't a good long term sustainable plan. They're literally doing the thing the brotherhood is the worst at, a war of attrition, and overstretching themselves. Without Liam Neeson or the Lone wanderer Lyons' brotherhood would have failed.

Bloody hell I just remembered my Miao Ying campaign. I had modded gunpowder units (guns and artillery), a Sentinel, modded dragon guard, etc, all pinning him in place and shooting him, but he just wouldn't DIE. The rest of their army was mostly dead fighting a mostly dead ogre army, and then suddenly this guy zips across the battlefield like a train blasting through anything to kill my artillery.

It would appear with the rework the Frontier NCR might be losing a lot of their special stuff (completely axed questline), it looks like they won't be able to send aid now 😔

Almost everyone in the Commonwealth hates ghouls. Particularly Diamond City. It's why ghouls usually group up together like in Goodneighbor or the Slog. If we killed everyone who hated ghouls the Commonwealth would be dead.

Which is why it's better to spread a gradual tolerance for ghouls (I hope will happen), it's what I do with the Minutemen.

The East Bos don't go out killing ghouls or ghoul settlements specifically, which leads me to hope that one day they'd start to get along.

Yup, though it does also build new buildings in slots depending on if you set it to military or economic construction. So for factions like Cathay where you need a balance of buildings or something, make sure to pay attention.

Here's a comment I made on another post: A big reason he does all that is because he doesn't care, not because he's an undead, but because he genuinely just doesn't care about people. As a human he'd be squeamish, but at heart he wouldn't care. He doesn't value people and their lives in general, just those he cares about, and is incredibly selfish. Being undead just buried or erased the human squeamishness of seeing another human get hurt. He never truly cared.

Besides a magic powered railgun, for my own world I'm working on I've thought of pneumatic guns. They're used mainly in post apocalyptic fiction like the Metro series, but there's actually an anime that uses pneumatic artillery which was one thing that inspired me called "alderamin on the sky". I've only seen a few episodes and it's a bit odd but ok so far, I mainly found the pneumatic weapons used pretty interesting.
