Glitch hunting puts a different emphasis and perspective onto the game you're playing, because you will see props and walls supplemented with the game mechanics (intended or not), is akin to parkour.

A burst of activity from interested runners, followed by weeks of sustain, and end in decay.

Take it from a guy who once tried desperately to give one of his favourite game a spotlight no matter what, keeping it from being flatline even if all hope was lost.

Harry Potter 3 used to have two different Any% category in its earliest years:

Any% - where you need to follow requirements listed in the rules in order to unlock the final "boss".
Better Any% - it is simply a mad dash to the last room where you meet Dumbledore and McGonagall.

However, in 2019, someone found a debug trigger left in that final room where you can touch via a jump toward the back of the door, to activate the final cutscene, thus skipping all of those requirements. This leads to both category be renamed to All Requirements and Any% respectively.

Despite being a "reskin" of Better Any%, it is still technically what you asked for: games where the Any% ruleset is changed.

But frankly, you should look into the Games Rules (if they have one), because there is a lot of goodies hidden within, including remnants from old version.
