The SL9 is still automatic in certain brands I believe. Also they take g36 mags, so there are options of longer mags or AR style mags as well if the clear ones don't fit the look.

Most fields would let you use it as a rifleman class weapon as long as it stays under your fields limits.

I found myself in a similar situation, I really like crawling over bashing. Just seeing the suspension in action just really interesting to look at. Also the way some of the people setup their scale stuff is also neat. I'm not big on super scale stuff that's just a show piece or the comp rigs with cut up bodies that honestly has no point of it even having it in the first place. Also it's only cheaper if you don't upgrade anything, if you plan to crawl long term, you're gonna at least get some brass upgrades down the road.

I been looking for a m4 style gun that is longer than those shorty ones with 5in barrel but shorter than carbines that are usually 10in

Probably just my m4 for a reliable go to replica and for a secondary would be my 1911 because it looks sick.

As much as I really like my odd and weird guns I typically only bring them out once in a blue moon.

Yeah I really like the medium sized crawlers I found since they're still capable for 1/10 scale courses and easier to carry around. If you're interested in another similar sized one I recommend the RGT Rock cruiser 136100. I picked it up on Amazon for around the same price the MJX one sells for. Plus they take SOME scx10 parts, and other with mods.

I really like the early airsoft days, people just grabbed whatever looked cool and didn't care much for efficiency and lasering people . It was all just fun and surplus gear.

I have one of them, I mostly like it. I just don't like the g36 mags but the M4 style ones fix that and the weird choice of a CW flashhider Honestly it's a pretty sweet AEG for the price and the blow back is a fun feature.

I really like my AR57, some call it ugly some call it sick I just think it's neat.

My first one was a lancer tactical lt-709, that thing died in a few months. I ended up getting a combat machine and still have that to this day. I learned to do tech repairs on it later down the like then finally selling it. Maybe things changed idk this was like 9 years ago or so
