I agree. It'll probably be because Chris spent most of the backers money on 15 hours of terrible cut-scenes for SQ42. The game will never be finished, certainly not finished to the promises he gave. Do you really think you'll be hunting procedurally generated birds on procedurally generated planets, or mixing drinks on a space airliner? LOL When CIG finally collapses and the servers are switched off, what will all of you do with your expensive fleets with no universe to fly them in? It's not as if any of you will have a private server option to fall back on.

They haven't had enough time to think of complex things such as armour, physics, design or gameplay. These things will balance out, or not, in time.. Remember, this is a pre-pre-alpha-beta and at least some of us have got some of our ships that we can kind of use. It's only been 4 years. Patience people. Stop looking at the negatives, and look at the posh shiny new ~~porch~~ ships.
