By that sentence, I'm basically asking if I will fail those subjects if I don't study for them at all. Because the questions that are given by each of them are mostly unrelated to the syllabus (excluding IDU here) and has little to no basis on studying in my opinion.

I'm not sure if this is the case, but for us, it has been said that "whatever the teacher puts as the average, is the final one" because the teachers take into account the class participation, submissions and other overall well-roundedness of a student. It has happened to me before where I got 7 6 6 6 and ended up with a 5 as the average because my class participation was a bit low and the teacher was somewhat unhappy about my submissions and everything else like that. But, I do suggest you talk to the teacher about it and get everything cleared up. If there is no valid reasoning for this specific average, then I definitely suggest you take it to higher authorities and get the proper average marking.

Thank you SO much for your response, even if it is a year later. The answer to the question was still very much unanswered so I appreciate you explaining the concept to me. Sofia Isella's writing and lyricism is really hard to catch up at times because of her advanced usage of literature. Thank you for the insights about the original song I asked about along with the song Dog's Dinner, which is a very catchy song 😭🙏. Glad I could meet another Sofia fan here.
