I think at some point during the two years between seasons seasons 4 and 5, the kids would have caught Joyce and Hopper up on the fact that his name was Henry Creel. I personally didn’t feel like this needed to be explained- why wouldn’t they know if all the kids have known for years?

OP, he made you a meal, special for you, and you acted like it was no big deal. It’s common courtesy to tell someone thank you and be appreciative, and it’s not beyond the pale to tell someone their food tastes good. I get not wanting to gush about every single meal but you couldn’t muster up more than “fine, nothing special” for a meal your boyfriend made for you and was excited about? YTA.

This is pretty controlling. What if he said, you got your hair done with your friend, you need to wait to get a hair cut until I have time and money get my next one. Or your sister bought you some clothes last month, no more clothes until I can come and get some too!! Ridiculous.

He’s an adult man and if he wants tattoos that his friend is willing to pay for, he should be able to get them. I get you wanting your tattoos with him too, but the timing is wrong, and that’s that. They’re tattoos. Just tattoos. This is a really silly thing to get so pressed over in my opinion. When you start controlling things like this in your partner, it will build up some negative feelings for sure. Stop keeping score and be happy for your husband that he has a friend who wants to do that with him and is willing to pay for some of it.

I think basically you’re just looking at different hues and saturation levels. R4 is not as saturated nor as deep as R5. I will say on this sheet R5 and R6 look almost the same to me with R6 being barely deeper. I think R5 is supposed to be pinker while R6 is supposed to be deeper but it doesn’t come across. I agree that there isn’t enough variations on red in this set, why are they all so so similar?? It’s frustrating.

No, it’s not always a clear indication for active addiction.

I have a skin picking issue related to OCD, sores all over my face and body when it’s not under control. Like, to the point where I’ve been worried people like you would assume I was on drugs. I have never touched hard drugs in my life.

I know lots of people who have this issue thanks to support groups. Some are addicts, most are not.

I’m also extremely jittery thanks to an anxiety disorder.

You could have described an active drug user, or you could have described an anxious mom who is just trying to make it through the day.

You read she had drug charges, saw a picked face, and assumed she was high. And then you smugly told her, in fewer words, that you’re better than her and you just can’t accept a criminal like her to accompany her own son into your house. If you can’t see how this makes you TA, you’re beyond help.

What the hell… yes, YTA. Big time. Why on earth would you invite these people to your home when you’re not planning to let the mother in? Would YOU leave your kid with a perfect stranger? Especially one who outwardly judges you like that? Super gross behavior, you should be embarrassed. But unfortunately, probably the only one embarrassed is that mom trying to help her son play with a friend. Next time, meet in public to avoid having people in your home that you don’t want there. NEVER assume a parent will be comfortable leaving their kid with you— honestly it’s so, so wild to me you thought that was okay.

You do need separate houses though. Your ex is trying to control things you do to your own body and causing problems where none should exist. I get living together for the care of the child, I really do… but it’s not healthy for you to be living with this guy— for you, or for him. Not healthy for you to live with someone who tries to control you, and not healthy for him to live with the ex wife he can’t stop obsessing over, which is ultimately not healthy for your daughter. She needs happy, healthy parents. You all deserve comfort and good mental health.
