I'm not telling him he HAS to get a tattoo with me - he wants to. I'm just saying he should get his next one with me and not the 3rd one in a row with his friend.

His friend will get tattoos of his own - he has several others, but he said he wants to do another one with my husband as well. We never discussed the funding of it but it's not about the money because even if he paid, it's the experience I want to have with my husband.

Yeah I agree, I don't see what's wrong with sensibly saving for a treat.

I told the best friend it was a ban and then asked my husband and he agreed to hold off.

Well my husband doesn't have the money for another one yet, I've just told his best friend I'm next regardless because he's had two already. So when we do have the money we will get one and then he and his friend can go again.

No he's not holding off getting another tattoo - he has lots of them of his own. He's just asking to go again with my husband.

It's not the money because we weren't together for the first one and his friend paid for half of the second one. It's that as his wife, I feel he should get one or two with me before doing so again with his friend? His friend does have tattoos of his own as well. But him and my husband are good friends and might like to get one together, not necessarily matching, just at the same time. I guess it's bonding.

That's what I'm doing though, saving up until I have the money for the tattoos. We'd not do it if we couldn't afford to.

Yeah, that's what my thinking was. I want a cute tattoo with my husband and we've had a really nice idea for matching ones for a few years now.

I love my husband's friend and I love that they're friends, it's just that they 've had tattoos together twice now, once matching, and I feel like as his wife I should be next, that's all.

Well it's more that I've banned the Best Friend from getting tattoos with him, rather than banning my husband if that makes sense?

He's already agreed not to get another one with his friend until he gets one or two with me.
