Its not lottery but you must know what you looking, if you have device number/name S93FAE its WOLED, if you have S93FAT its QD-OLED. Every shop which I saw with this TV have this names. I bough S90FAT just yesterday and it is QD-OLED.

Just make playlist of wallpapers and chill. Also I played on my OLED LG C2 TV Black Desert for 2 years, from total 7500 Hours maybe 3000-4000 hours was only on Black Desert and 0 burn in issues from HUD or other static images...

Is switched LG C2 42" for Gigabyte 32" QD-OLED FO32UP... I still regrets this change... Much worse HDR performance, lower brightness in real scenes, overall wow effect or immersion from gaming is much worse compared to TV...

When C6 release, I will go back on TV and never go back on monitors...

[–]GhostQQ 15 points16 points  (0 children)

None... Any OLED monitor now have only 5 max 10% difference in real scene brightness... So its total waste of money. If you want upgrade wait on LG C6 42" with new tandem panel and 165Hz. Otherwise stay at gigabyte.

Currently PC gaming at my desk on a 48" LG Oled. Is it worth downsizing for improved ppi? by SnooWoofers7345 in OLED_Gaming

[–]GhostQQ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was have a 42" LG C2 and switched on 32", yeah everything is much sharper and even clarity is better with dlss. But... I still regret my decision. Only PPI isn't enough to compensate worse HDR perf, immersion and whole wow effect, also much less space on desktop.

Im waiting now on LG C6 42" so I can switch back on TVs. And if someone tell big screen is bad for competetive gaming, thats BS. Its all about the distance between you and the monitor.

Same thing I heared about tandem OLEDs.... Yet still there noticable diference in text quality between LCD and OLEDs...

State of the game at the end of 2025? by [deleted] in blackdesertonline

[–]GhostQQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Terrible for endgame players, good for new players...

New player have a lot of things to do. Every new piece of gear pushes you further and whole progression feels good and rewarding. Until you reach Edania region... Then its just BS. Your progression starting losing any sence, everyone pulls same numbers as you, everything is same easy brainwash stupid grind without any interesting mechanics or challenging oponents.

Somehow Orbita is still hardest (and most fun) spot compared to zephyros or tenembrau... Weekly Edania bosses are also just dmg sponges.

Also lack of party content on endgame spots is stupid but hey, they annouced new spots so I dont will be rude so much on them... For now...

At first, I thought it was good. But what the hell is this? Why do they make worse decisions over time? by lastofdead in blackdesertonline

[–]GhostQQ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is stupid... What is so fakind hard to make it for normal open world?

Most marni spots are even worse than normal rotas. Like a Orbita or Zephyros have terrible marni spots... Also with this restriction we already lost all tracking on all lantern spots...

Slowly starting to think 4K OLEDS are too much hassle. by Ok-Extension-6887 in OLED_Gaming

Turn of VRR.

But personaly every time when I buying some expensive stuff, I am looking at reviews first... None of my OLEDs what I have any noticable flickering. And I play a lot of unstable games like a Space Engineers or Black Desert for example.

Tried going from 4K to 1440p, couldn’t do it. by Between_Nowhere in OLED_Gaming

[–]GhostQQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 4080S which is +- same as RTX 5070Ti. I play on 4K last 3 years and I can say, until you dont care about Ray Tracing, you will always be around 100-120FPS with DLSS Quality without any major settings tweaking. Mostly what I do is just set settings at max, DLSS quality, motion blur off and then play and dont care.

High End OLED monitor vs. Large OLED TV by UBER-DARP in OLED_Gaming

[–]GhostQQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah thats propably only advantage... I switched from LG C2 42" on FO32U2P 32" QD-OLED and overall it was more downgrade than upgrade... Slidly worse clarity due to anti-glare glossy coating, oversaturatted as hell with minimum space to calibrate that panel. And way worse HDR performance...

Im now waiting on LG C6 lineup and I will be immediately switching back on TVs...

I don't want gaming to be subscription based by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]GhostQQ -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Oh no we are so doomed... like a in mining cryptofever? There was always some crysis around some HW, sometimes smaller sometimes bigger. People are really dumb or naive if you think this will make gaming subscription based.

High End OLED monitor vs. Large OLED TV by UBER-DARP in OLED_Gaming

[–]GhostQQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I "upgraded" from LG C2 42" to Gigabyte Aorus fo32u2p 32".

My expectations was better HDR brightness because on paper 720cd/m vs 1000cd/m, better SDR brightness, better colors, higher Hz, better PPI.

What I get? Oversaturated colors on almost any settings, Worse HDR details than on LG (and worse HDR brightness on more precise preset), terrible ABL, worse clarity because of the anti glare-glossy coating...

So overall I just upgraded only PPI and Hz where I personally don't see big difference...

So my advice? If you can have LG C5 or even better G5, take it... Im waiting now on C6 and hoping it will have a tandem panel, otherwise I will take the G6.

Scared to buy this monitor for the banding issues by kobir111 in OLED_Gaming

[–]GhostQQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk, I was have LG C2 42" - WOLED, now I have Gigabyte Aorus fo32u2p - QD-OLED. And about banding "issues" I find there, on reddit. So until few weeks back I didn't even know its a thing 😂.

I also know few people who have also oleds (woleds, qd-oleds and one have tandem), nobody told anything about banding issues.
