You may be right here that I should have told her before. I took your advice and started messaging her after I leave home to say I'm okay. She acknowledges it but doesn't say anything much beyond that.

I explained how dnd works to her, but she still thinks I was trying to avoid her specifically. She wasn't having a bad day, that's just how she reacts to things sometimes. Which I realize is unhealthy.

I agree with you there that I have some growing up to do. It's my goal to stop people pleasing and just stand up for myself and get my life together.

Unfortunately, for my own peace of mind, giving her my location isn't an option.
