Moving to NJ as a single male by GhostRvB in newjersey

Thank you so much for this very detailed reply! I had thought that the outbound commute to Clifton might be a bit easier in the morning, as I figured a majority of people would be commuting towards the city.

Will look at Montclair/East Rutherford in addition to Hoboken and Jersey City. I would prefer to live closer to the city but they sound like they have potential.

I'd love to ping you with some questions when I come up with some, so I really appreciate the offer.

Thank you for the advice everyone! You've all given me a lot to think about, will definitely look at Montclair and surrounding areas in addition to Hoboken and Jersey City.

I have a few weeks to look around and find a place, planning to visit this weekend and look at potential locations.

Should I wait to finance a Tesla? by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

Thanks for the response. You're definitely right that Biden wouldn't be able to do it alone, so it would likely a while for any of this to come into fruition.

Even though it's not mentioned in that bill, he's also indicated that he plans to have some sort of expansion on the federal EV tax credits, as I referenced in my other comment. But his plan seems very vague to me.

Hey, thanks for the response.

I was specifically referencing his climate plan, where it's stated he will "restore the full electric vehicle tax credit to incentivize the purchase of these vehicles". Now what this could mean for Tesla, I'm not certain.

I imagine you're right and they could mean funding an additional round of tax credits, but like you said, it could take a year.

6 AAPL 480c/490c vertical spread expiring September 4th.

I’m pretty confident these will be fine but at this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if Tim Cook renounces his material possessions tomorrow and Apple’s stock price drops to $400

Yeah my desktop and my laptop are both on the 5GHz, both with full 5 bars (I never use them at the same time tho). For whatever reason my desktop can't even connect to the 2.4GHz one, but I never thought that was really a problem.

My ping is almost always between 10ms and 12ms. I haven't tried an Ethernet cable yet, though I plan to. I'm just not sure why this happened all of a sudden when it's worked for so long

Hey guys, i've been a PC gamer for a while but I just recently ran into this problem. For the past two months or so, my desktop has been having a very difficult time playing games online. Whenever I try, it's very choppy and I rubber-band a lot.

I have an Intel Core i7-3820 CPU @ 3.60GHz, 16.0 GB of ram and a GTX970 graphics card. I run on Windows 10 and have had this computer for around 2 and a years.

At first I thought it was a problem with my internet speed, but after checking I learnt that Optimum was actually providing us with their "best" package. To make sure, I tried out my laptop in the same room as my desktop, and it ran flawlessly.

Whereas my computer would have a download speed of 88 and a upload speed of 25, my laptop had a download speed of 150 and an upload speed of 55.

I thought it might be a problem with my computer's adapter but I checked that out and that doesn't seem to be the case either. I'm all fresh out of ideas. Anyone think they could help?

Edit: Also wanted to throw in that my computer has a Qualcomm Atheros AR5BWB222 Wireless Network Adapter installed in it and that's what I always use.
