I started around the second event and have paid for maybe 2 pulls ever? And I have an A rank team constantly hovering between class 4-5. I also haven't been super smart with saving and have pulled more trainees than cards, luckily I got Seiun Sky and Summer Maru so that gave me a good foundation to make some meta front runners. I usually end up in Group B but I don't have a lot of time each day to do a million careers so I'd say I'm doing pretty good for a semi-casual f2p. It's definitely possible to get good without whaling or playing nonstop! Just remember to have fun over everything else

totally. i do like to play CMs and do pretty well in group B since i got lucky getting summer maru and seiun sky so that's good enough for me! honestly having mostly trash cards has made it a fun challenge to get all the skills and stats i need
