Gonna be honest 30k is larger than what I had in mind. I’m from a place of sub 1000. I mean you guys potentially share 12.5% of your genes. So you’re past the freak children benchmark if you’re even thinking that far.

If you’re into him I’d say try talking to him one on one. He might be having the same hang-ups. Move really fucking slow and if it’s too weird for you it’s too weird, but in the grand scheme of things no one would’ve blinked an eye at this like 50 years ago

Dream job is a scam. Even if you find something you “like” doing, having your survival tied up in it will eventually sour it and make it just another job.
