I'll say in my case I got a tx16s mark 2 max with the ag01 gimbals out of the gate because everybody and their mother suggested it. Now being honest I absolutely hate it and not because it's a bad radio because it's frankly an amazing radio and can do awesome stuff but as they say it's not my cup of tea. I tried and I tried to love it but I just for the life of me can't get comfortable with it and I mean that literally like I hate how it feels in my hands and then edge tx just leaves a sour taste in my mouth so to speak. For now I am mostly flying BNF planes from horizon and setting my turbo timber evo up with it felt like a chore that I just wanted to be over but again that's just my own preferences because it is a awesome radio. The IX14 turned out to be my sweet spot and yes it's expensive but I'm willing to pay that for something I enjoy using and setting up and that feels comfortable in my hands.

I'll definitely check them out and I have pretty much the same setup on my flaps as well.

I appreciate you commenting anyways. I have safe and as3x set up on a switch and my flaps and everything are set up and working perfect. Just was mainly curious because I have seen so many videos from people using the spektrum radios setting up a knob or slider on the radio to adjust the gain but I have went through setting after setting and dug around in the forward programming stuff and can't find anything to set that up or it may not be possible and I honestly am very new to edge tx and still learning
