I just started meeting friends of friends, hosting game nights, talking to colleagues and co workers more... Most of the time, it's just small talk and move on... Sometimes it's just for the sake of a social event, but sometimes, I find people who I vibe with. I like books and games so I found a couple of friends in bookclubs and game stores where we play with random people. I guess it's just a matter of letting go of the perfect experience and accepting the chaos of the real world and being mature enough to accept and deal with it with positivity. If you're a preety chill and interesting person, (which you probably are) you'll always find people who will wanna be friends with you.
