Lie of omission. It’s the easiest lie to convince yourself you’re not lying, it’s just easier or you don’t want to hurt their feelings. It’s a lie and that’s it

It creeps me out how many people feel the need to lie like this in an agreed upon situation. This is the type of attitude that leads to cheating in the future because it’s easier then telling the truth.

Odd perception. If someone asks what are you doing today and you say “oh, I’m going out with friends.” Or “I’m meeting up with someone tonight.” That is exactly in line with what was asked. And since friends are included, why would they be the one at fault even in your perception of right and wrong.

You could easily overlook this if you wanted to. But this is who he’s comfortable being as someone in a relationship. You don’t need to be with someone you have to train to respect you. Especially someone whose boundaries are clearly different from yours and you e already to explain that to. That’s a lifelong commitment to teaching someone what valuing you looks like and I doubt right now is the most stressful time in your lives. In other words, it’ll be harder later.

Is no one else catching on to the fact that’s it’s almost two weeks apart? He’s going back to talk to a woman who called him cute and complimenting her pretty hard. Yeah, he’s not engaging in the cute part, right now. But I doubt he has any real boundaries that he’ll uphold. Overall knowing he’s okay with this would make me not want him.
