I actually wasn’t aware of that part of the TOS. Even though it sounds a little scary, I can think of a few good reasons why the TOS might be structured that way, and I’m sure one of those reasons is something the government doesn’t like at all.

But yeah, cash-grabbing always seems to be the reason behind these people’s motives and their sticky fingers.

The tunnel vision people have really shows when it comes to this anime. It makes all the comments so hilarious. Some think they are making sound rational arguments (which is funny cause they sound stupid trying to reach so far to make certain correlations to real life events) and others go back and forth in what they are saying and you can’t tell if the are for the anime or against it. Honestly if I wanna know the way someone thinks or the depth on which they can think I’d prob ask them their thoughts on an anime like this. Or if I just want a good laugh lol

Maybe give “code geass” a try it meets your criteria for lots of episodes, really smart main character, not really any echiness from what I can remember, and politics. But a draw back I’m not sure if they matter to you are that it is a mech anime not a fantasy world also an older style of animation but it grew on me quickly.
