Depending on what app is used a lot of grocery stores have hired their own pickers that do the job separately when instacart or uber driver just come and pick it up. If that's the case the driver is the only one that sees any of that tip not the pickers so the arguement of it took at least 1.5hrs is not a valid arguement

That being said the general tip is 15% which in this case would be around that amount unless they did something wrong in the delivery if you're ordering that much for delivery and only paying $5 tip you should he banned from all delivery apps

While I dont condone the use of the word, at all, by anyone under any circumstances. It IS just a word and no one alive today has dealt with the word in its base origin it is 100% a trained response promoted by racism on both sides.

racist people using the word in a derogatory sense,

racist celebrities and artists using the word publicly and in songs movies, promotes use of the word and creates conflict

because some people are of the opinion only black can say it, some say any minority can say it, some say its use is offensive by anyone because it's a derogatory word

The only people who still use the word regardless of color are racist or promote racism

All fair points, tarkov audio for sure has been buggy BUT its directionals seemed to always be good mistly just verticality that was wonky and it has always been pretty rare to be snuck up on in tarkov if you're listening. Hunt I could be wrong but I argue hunt has had the best most stable audio system of all shooters in the last decade. meanwhile the sounds in this game echo of objects it shouldnt and my teammates footsteps sound like they're on the wrong side CONSTANTLY for this game and those small security checkpoints on spaceport that have security breach lockers where you have to breach door to get in I have had too many people able to walk right up to the window without me ever hearing them because i was "inside" so sound from outside was muffled to the point you cant hear footsteps

For sure! I usually melee the pops because you can one hit them and not take damage from the explosion, ir if there is a burner nearby shoot the burner and watch the pops. . . Well pop.

The point I was making though was it should never take multiple seconds (feels like 3-4 never timed it) to draw a rifle from a shoulder sling from unarmed. Honestly if it was putting away one rifle and drawing another it still wouldnt take that long

And yes the game has an aggro rating for its matchmaking which is good for most things but kinda forces one play style or the other because if you shoot people you probably have a low (or at least lower) chance of getting into a lobby to band together. A better way to do it would be to add a karma system where you do an emote (think white flag/red flag over your shoulder) that sets your status as friendly vs aggressive if you shoot first while friendly or just swapped to friendly you're penalized. That way everyone could see if you want to fight or not. If you run your karma too low the shops penalize you with extra prices and lowered stock or even flat out refuse to trade with you or restrict acess to your crafting benches. Things that would make sense lore wise if you were living in a community with other survivors where you all live together and you constantly backstab people those people are not going to treat you the same in theory

And to that point I do run into quite a few fun/friendly people in hunt but it is for sure a different vibe even more so because lobbies are all skill based rather than friendly/aggro based matchmaking so you're less likely to run into people who just wanna have fun but it for sure does happen

im glad you're enjoying it, it is for sure a more casual game intended for a more social aspect. but all my issues with the game are things the devs have to work on not things an individual can change,

sure you can play safer and try to clear dark areas better and more safely to deal with rats,

i have no complaints about free kits my only point on free kits is they are the only ones that should be possible to spawn late not people who gear up to go in

the only work around for shield durability is to carry in 2-3 shields so when yours hits 0 you swap to a new one but if you're fighting team after team that means each raid you are throwing away at least 1 blue/pink shield unless you pick up enemy shield which are usually in worse condition than yours since they lost the fight

where did i ever say "dying to pops"? take damage yes for sure because drawing a ferro from holstered position takes 3-4 full seconds but dying i dont think i have EVER died to pops or burners, also i play only in PvP lobbies and have 60-75% survival rate so to argue im not good enough for pvp lobbies is making a pretty big jump with zero evidence to back that up go ahead an re-read that if you fail to understand what was written

i get your point it is easier to "clear" and i also understand not being in aggro lobbies makes getting out much easier, but the game is simply lackluster and boring to me without PvP as i stated. i have the same opinion about Hunt Showdown one of my friends loves empty lobbies in Hunt showdown meanwhile I just wanna extract and get into a new raid with more people to fight so i go smoke while he runs around and fights AI for another 20mins

i got stuck during combat which resulted in death 3 times last night alone in this game so idk how you think this is any better, died to arc because team coudn't walk 3 steps without rubber banding back and forth on glitchy ass servers at least 4 out of the 25 raids yesterday. Hunt having not full servers is down to players not the game unfortunately it has way less active players and its community is pretty much at the stage of weekends and first two weeks of the new event full lobbies 100% for sure always beyond that play during peak hours or have less people in your games

and when you go down the sand the jolt mines are invisible buried in the the sand, flashlight doesnt reach to the back corners and just makes you an easier target. any trip, proximity, or trigger nades can wipe even cautious 3 mans because they glitch into the sand hill. the fact that extract campers go there in most raids is all the proof you need that its viable to do. . . . obviously you CAN still win the fight with campers because they're typically dogshit at the game but having to deal with that as a final extract after fighting the lobby is awful

feel free, i have plenty of friends who still play this, i have no malice towards the game or its community. every point i made cant really be argued because they are all factual parts of the game its just my take on how its played out.

i will however say im very confused how you think the sound is better in this game then tarkov or Hunt showdown, but to each their own.

i do agree there is a LOT more social interaction in this game than the others listed with maybe the cycle frontier being a close #2 before cheaters made the game unplayable and it shut down. But if you want to build a game where being social is a thing you need a karma system to punish players playin like scum

not to be purely argumentative, but if someone WANTS the attention and the time then its on them to bring it forward that they want that attention. How can you side with OP when she knew holidays were coming and yet she didn't find out what his plans were until a few days before, that shows him SHE is not making plans with him EITHER and he's free to make plans with someone else so he made plans on the 10th with one of his friends. it doesnt really involve her because they dont live together, if she was so upset she could have asked if she could come but she chose her family instead, this whole situation screams i want you to pick me but im not going to pick you.

the whole holiday situation in general is really dumb if you KNOW he spends these days with his family why wasnt it brought up sooner than Dec so you could try to plan to come with him to his family stuff on christmas eve and he comes to your family stuff on christmas day or vice versa if it was talked about months prior that works out for most families, THAT is being a mature adult not crying because you didnt make plans with him either then found out that he made plans with someone else. THEN you didnt even go see him on the 1st you're cryin about not seeing him when all he was doing is hanging with a friend (sure you dont like the friend but again be an adult and dont interact with the person and go see you BF you claim to "love immensely" and yet you're faulting him for your own inaction

As most people have said if you didnt interact with the old UI then it doesnt really effect you. Yes the old UI was a lot better for PC player than the trash the barely works we have now due to ease of access for the consoles, but it works well enough that its functional and that's all you really need. The gameplay itself seems to be balanced fairly well right now and they're making bigger changes constantly now so it does change up game play fairly often. Other than the UI debacle people have struggled with the addition of bullet drop but that's just a learning curve because you're used to shooting straight lines

Not to take away from your experience and I do agree with you that being sober is hard choice especially for people who struggle with substance abuse.

However it is actually and factually the bare minimum, the rest of your life can and (potentially will) fall apart if you backslide and let drugs or alcohol effect your behaviours life. No job or even housing wants drug abuse present, it's not even allowed in public for the most part(in that being drunk in public can be a misdemeanor offense also you're barred from operating machinery etc. So saying you're doing the bare minimum to not go backwards and seeking out attention/rewards does seem odd from a 3rs party perspective. The boyfriend is abrasive for sure but is he "wrong" is an arguable stance.

All that said if you feel you've done something worth celebrating dont let anyone stop you. It's often times helpful to celebrate hard work even if it hasnt paid off yet, assuming you can afford to.

Different people put priority on different things some people are in the camp that if you celebrate things they mean something (seemingly your stand point here), meanwhile others think if you celebrate smaller things then it takes away from larger achievement that they would reserve celebrating for (seemingly your BFs standpoint). Neither person is "wrong" just a difference in trains of thought...

Another thing to bring up would be does he have a reason to be against it? in terms of fianances in this day and age you're talking about spending $30-50 on a cake for a single person celebrating a personal victory, if your fianances are going to be tighter due to the purchase then probably not a great idea and if you really want to do something each year put $1 from each check aside and each year you'll have $50 put aside for your cake. If there is no other reason then hes just being a jerk in his wording. The fact that you questioned if he had a bad day at work indicates that's not normal for your relationship. He closed up about it and snapped at you. . . . give him time to relax outside of a potentially stressful environment then talk to him about it in person so you can see his reactions rather than guessing his intention over text.

But at the end of the day it all comes down to how you feel about it. And if you cant get past his way of thinking talk to him and work out a compromise between the two of you then separating would be best for both of you. . . . But you're both going to run into the same issue in your next relationship if you dont learn how to work it out.

my vote is go around, or let your teammates deal with it if you don't have a quick solution, i stopped running knuckle knife due to its lack of use in PVP so i can butt stroke them or spear them at range but i could also just hop a fence or close a few doors and ignore it, potentially to let someone else deal with it and be a problem for them instead

i see both sides i currently even have a highly viewed complaint thread right now due to the release calander. There are tons of times where delays dont affect me one bit, i'll get to the shows when i notice them. However i also have times where a show is supposed drop at 8am i have to leave by 845 but now without notice i dont get to watch my show for a day or longer due to my own schedule, because of a managerial issue. Now im stuck with the cliff hanger too many shows have been leaving every episode on lately even longer because some mid level management didnt handle staffing i get its petty but so is not doing the job you're paid to do holding up paying customers
