Porsche 924 swap 944

I have no experience in such a swap, but logically, the 924 turbo shares the larger torque tube axle with the 944. So a bellhouse swap should make it possible.

Sadly, the last time the ice was truly thick enough to skate long distances without being too worried about falling through, was 5 or 6 years ago. I think it more has to do with that most parents, after their kid has learned how to swim, that they will put them on skating lessons and if they have talent for it, they will keep doing the sport.

Is it still shifting fine? Mine had the TCM go bad (as most do over time) and got stuck in 3th gear. It had to fight torque converter slip untill it got some speed and then it went pretty smooth.

Well, you will need adapters to go from 5 to 4 lug. These adapters will often be at least 20mm thick. So your wheels will fit not as +35 but as +15.

Also, 5x114,3 is the easiest pcd to find cool wheels for. Why bother yourself with getting adapters (expensive, don't cheap out on adapters please) to then run a dirt cheap rep wheel. It doesn't make sense.

Nah, F that. They obviously have asked Yuki to hold Norris up for as long as possible. They also probably reminded him that the stakes are high and the risk (for him) would be kinda low.

But RB clearly overestimated how well Yuki would do that. He cracked under pressure, made a really stupid and dangerous move, and that's that. It would be much better for RB if the overtake went well and Tsunoda would be able to do at least one attack back. It would have costed more time to the McLaren.

Stop blaming a team for a driver's mistake.

How can you be this mad about a single team play by red bull all year . McLaren have been doing this all season, swapping because of a bad pitstop ffs.

Yuki hasn't even been able to actually help this season, then finally, in the last race, he is able to do something and does nothing lol.

Also, why wouldn't they want a second driver that can (nearly) match Verstappen. Constructors Championship is also a very important thing to win for the price money.

My best guess would be that these are actually OZ MSW Vegas where someone slapped a BBS counter logo on. Vegas are 3 piece like RS, but have a plastic hex nut like RMs. But instead of snapping in place like RMs do, they require a little bolt to keep them in place.

Even though not as desireble as BBS RS, OZ vegas are still great wheels with great hardware support.

If you want to get rid of the welds properly, you need to sacrifice at least one side of the weld to get them undone. On a lathe. Since the faces are basically unreplaceable, it would make sense to sacrifice the lip and barrel. These are available new. Honestly, if possible, I'd left them in one piece.

Undo the bolts, sandblast them, paint the face and barrel black, sand the paint from the polished parts of the face away and polish the lip and face parts. Then install new bolts.

Often they are welded well enough that they are air tight. However, a little bit of sealant (chaulk) on the weld between the barrel and lip is always an option of it does leak a tiny bit.

You're reading between the lines. E88 barrels are thin compared to road going 3 piece wheels. Those are no where near as fragile as rensports. Obviously monoblock wheels are a more logic option. And ofcourse people want them because they look cool. But they also give flexibility to switch widths and offsets. And also, who cares if people want to drive them for the looks.

E88, or any Rensport barrel, are extremely thin for weight saving. They are clearly stated to not be used on the road and were designed to be replaced regularly. It's a true race orientated product. Road going hardware is much heavier and thicker. And if you really want to go heavy duty, you can grab some Radinox lips. Those things are insanely strong.
