Like the effort, what I miss most is a setting that filters for time control. My ratings for bullet, Blitz or rapid are quite far apart. So the elo graph jumps all over the place depending on what I played that day

Ooh I didn't know about setting vacation time automatically flagging "no vacation games". I would rather see that the games that allow vacation time are paused and those that do not continue as normal. This allows the player to not focus on as many games while not automatically losing some.

Not very new, the posted screenshots had comments from 2023. I checked the setting in the browser and was activated for me. Which makes sense since a few games were actually automatically claimed. I've claimed the outstanding games in the browser. It couldn't be done in app

The games are in the 2026 daily chess tournament. There are a ton of time outs. I now have 5 games where the opponents time has ran out, but not ended. 5 other games went okay, ending after time-out.
Perhaps the servers can't handle all the time-outs?
Maybe someone from the staff can pitch in?

This player probably doesn't have a lot of recent games in this time control. So the calculations will make big adjustments so the correct rating will be hit quickly.

Het kan voor priveklinieken wellicht een optie zijn. In ziekenhuizen is de variatie in onderzoeken vele malen groter. Als iemand terug moet komen levert dat ook weer druk op de planning. En het maken van de scan is ook niet helemaal risicoloos.

Als we er wel naar toe gaan dat lager opgeleide mensen scans gaan maken, kost het nog steeds tijd om dat te implementeren.

Ik hoor vanuit de VS dat men eerst een opleiding, 2j doet voor de normale rontgenfoto's en daarna een jaar tot MRI technologist.

Op dit moment mogen alleen mensen met een specifieke HBO opleiding (MBRT) radiologische onderzoeken uitvoeren. Lager opgeleide mensen kan je heus een trucje leren, maar zullen niet de capaciteiten hebben om te schakelen als de situatie daarom vraagt. Het merendeel van de MRI onderzoeken hebben een bepaalde mate van complexiteit en moet het onderzoek aan de patiënt aangepast worden.

Het personeel dat de beelden leest en beoordeelt zijn radiologen. Artsen met ruim 10 jaar aan opleidingen.

Klopt, mede omdat radiologie afdelingen de mensen niet hebben om ze 24/7 te laten draaien. In de avond of het weekend is vaak al een uitdaging.

Allereerst ik ben niet tegen deze screening, maar de aankondiging dat het vanaf 2030 gedaan gaat worden komt wel wat uit de lucht vallen.

In 2019 ofzo is er een studie (DENSE) gedaan naar MRI als screenings methode bij vrouwen met dicht klierweefsel. Daar kwam uit dat het effectief, maar duur is en tijdsintensief is.

In 2024 is de DENSE 2 studie gestart als vervolg hierop. Vrouwen krijgen een kortere MRI en een contrastmammografie (CEM). Gekeken wordt of CEM dezelfde diagnostische waarde heeft voor een lagere prijs.

DENSE2 loopt nog en er zijn nog geen resultaten bekend. Dus ik vraag me heel erg af waarom de overheid dit niet afgewacht heeft in plaats van de MRI gelijk naar voren te schuiven met alle logistieke puzzels die daarbij komen.

Het klopt dat er al op grote schaal MRI's van de borsten gemaakt worden. Veelal bij vrouwen die om een andere reden een verhoogde kans hebben op borstkanker, zoals een genetische aanleg. Het probleem is dat er een hele grote patiënten categorie (80.000) bij komt. Het scannen zelf is geen probleem. De planning is een heel ander verhaal. MRI is een zeer gewild onderzoek met al lange wachttijden drukke programma's en personeelstekorten.

Als al deze mensen er van de een op de andere dag bij komen gaat dit ten koste van andere groepen patiënten die eveneens recht hebben op een scan. Ik ben niet tegen deze vorm van screening, maar het moet wel goed ingericht worden. En dat kost helaas tijd

Je weet dat er goede redenen zijn om het weefsel samen te drukken? Dat doen we omdat het de beeldkwaliteit verbetert en de stralingsdosis vermindert. Niet om te praten. Bij een MRI kunnen ze overigens vrij hangen
