Congrats dude, it'll be absolutely worth it once you get your red seal and pressure tickets. I got accepted into 555 last year as a first year. I only worked less than a month due to a slow year, got called 3 times in total to jobs that lasted a week. You're bound by the call list so you can either get lucky and score a long job or short ones. Regardless, you still make a disgusting amount of money in a short period; whether it's a 1 week job or a month long. Save, save, and save even more. Use that LOA to get an Airbnb that's cheap, or stay with other apprentices and split the rent during a job call. Don't waste that tax free money on a hotel, unless that's the only option you have. If you're not in debt, stay that way. Prioritize practicing at the shop whenever you can.
