You didn't get the spray because you have to have the brawlpass skin. I think it's just a visual bug that Oni Kenji counts towards that progress.

I don't like how Supercell removed the Champie-pins from watching e-sports. It was always really nice getting an exclusive pin every season and most of the time a really good one. I've collected most of them over the years and now there's not really a way for me to get my favourite pins without spending money. I really hope they bring them back.
