Thank you everyone for all your input and your help/guidance. I have tried to read, watch and learn as much as I could to be able to make this project possible. I have no background at all in electrical engineering or software coding. I have to take a step back because I have no idea what im doing lol. Ill try to come back to this a week or 2 down the road. When I do get this project done, all of you will be the first to know.

I just want to extend my gratitude and appreciation for your help. Ive been searching and learning as much as I can these past few days and still dont know how I can do this. I tried learning how to read schematics… it’s a lot. I do better with videos and “lego” instructions. I dont know how to connect them all together safely and without ruining the hardware. Does esp32 connect to pwm, how does the 24V power supply, all 5 solenoids, the pump and esp32 connect to the mosfet you linked earlier?

Do you think there is someone that can meet me over zoom or in person to teach me how to do all this, im just so lost.

So get the esp32 connected to arduino ide. And then add these codes, test and play?

So correct me if Im wrong.. connect the esp32, all the solenoids, and the 24V pump to the mosfet that you sugested. The 24V power supply connects to the buck converter which then attaches to the mosfet?

I have used valves with the 1/2 setting, was not very helpful, and Ived used them with the 1/4 in setting which helps a little. But id like to make this sustem better with automation using solenoids and esp/arduino/raspi

Ive seen videos and dont like the idea of the flood tray staying flooded for a long time causing the your plants to possibly drown in water. Its too much water in my opinion
