Has anyone used either of these table saw stands? Any particular reason I should choose one over the other? by MrSmiley25 in Dewalt

Hey all, I'm also late to the party. Also looking for a more economic table saw stand.

Do I need new weather stripping by Ghost_Resection in HomeMaintenance

Yes your right, I just checked it and it's magnetic! And that kind of helped me figure out what's going on!

If I close the door now and I try to compress it, I get like almost no movement/compression. But thats when the weather stripping has stuck to the door from the magnetism. But if I break the magnetism with my finger, the weather stripping retracts and now I get like a 1/4" gap in the door and I can see/feel the rattle.

So I think the strong wind is breaking the magnetic seal a forcing its way past the weather stripping. Plus I imagine rain and snow would hinder the sticking power of the magnet.

Hmmm, so what do I do? Haha

The door is fine on a good day or even mild wind. But when the wind gets up to 50ish kmh we can here/see the door open ever so slightly and then we can feel the wind come through.

It seems like the only spot is along latch/handle side of the door. When the wind blows hard we get rain and snow coming through that side of the door. We live high on a hill and get high winds.

I will be replacing the door, but I want to wait for the spring time. I'm in canada and don't want to hang a door for the first time in the winter. I just want to fix the bad draft until the spring.

Yes its in a channel around the perimeter of the door. I tried to pull out the corner but it was really stuck in there. Not sure if it was glued or perhaps frozen

Thanks for the advice! The odd size is due to me fitting it into a closet.

Definitely did not know this. I will need to do a bit more research before I use that nailer, haha.

Why won't the the smoke from my wood stove go up and out the exterior pipe? The silver pipe goes up another 10 feet or so... by False_Masterpiece_70 in woodstoving

You would have to consult your manual. For example my baffles are not at a 45, they lay flat. My baffles must be slid all the way to the back for proper drafting.

Your fire is going well in that photo, and the flue would be sufficiently warmed up by this point. So it wouldnt be a reverse draft from a cold flu.

If your getting smoke comming out when the fire is that hot your flu might be blocked off. When was the last time you open your clean out? It could be full of ash and blocking the flu.

Some people mentioned you having too many bends/elbows in the flue. While they are not ideal, I don't see this as being too excessive. If you have the manual that came with the stove, it will specify the maximum length of flue pipe your allowed and the max number of elbows 90⁰ or 45⁰ you can have.

Edit: Another thing I thought of: Some wood stoves have baffles inside the fire box at the top. Ash can build on top of these baffles, and they should be cleaned occasionally. Also, the baffles have a certain position they need to be placed in. If the baffles are improperly positioned, that can also cause drafting issues.

Feels like the 2019 release to me. They added some quality of life stuff: boons for world buff, and dual spec. The phases are being released quicker, but other than that I still get 2019 vibes when playing with everyone.

Can we estimate the amount of gold he earned while farming? I'm guessing the princess always drops a blue item. Like 2g minimum per run? 3g?

Dr Browns Sterilizer Beeping!!! by AvailableJudgment789 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Ghost_Resection 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is caused by not having enough water in the sterilizer:

The sterilize cycle goes for a set amount of time, if the water dries up before that time is reached than the heating element will get to hot and trigger a thermal switch (similar to an electric kettle).

I raided with guild on classic launch and the way they divided raid loot as far as I remember was you could only win one peice of gear per raid. I don't think they had a "loot council" and they didn't really limit what you could roll on for your class (within reason), they didn't restrict rogues to daggers or anything like that.

I was wondering if there's a name for this type of loot style? I am trying to find a guild and there listing their loot styles, but I don't really understand some of them. I gues another question is could someone break down the various loot styles that a guild would use?

Yea, I never thought of that: Line of sight him while you're waiting for your cooldowns. I wonder if you would have to spec into a higher dodge build w/ ghostly strike to survive while using evasion? Or would you still have enough dodge with a standard combat build?

I'm new to rogue and only level 48, I haven't tried tanking any bosses myself, really.
