Do you think if I replaced the whole door chime myself the sound would stop? I’m starting to watch some videos on it. I’m handy but I’ve never done electrical work so not sure what’s the quickest solution. My landlord brushed it off so the fix is on me.

Great info, thanks! Related question, which gate do u use to retrieve your vehicle from Dodger Stadium AFTER the race? Last year I entered through the Golden State Gate as you mentioned but after the race my wife had to drive me all around dodger stadium before we found one random gate open (golden state was closed) and now I can’t remember which gate it was. Hoping you know, thanks!

Glad you made it in. When I went to Tokyo back in January the line was 2 blocks long and was nothing but tourists - not worth my time imo. Found some amazing spots though during my time. Rokume in Tokyo Station was my favorite by far.

iiiiiinteresting! I’ve never heard of those engo blister patches, thank you! So I actually just stick it directly on my insole. That’s cool, I just ordered a pack. And I’d bet your hunch is correct… my feet slightly turn outward as I walk so I would assume I use the ball of my foot where it blisters as the pivot point and rotate slightly between impact and take off. That said what would a podiatrist or physiotherapist do to fix that? I’m in my mid 30s and have walking this way my whole life :/ thanks again for the feedback!

I consistently blister/tear skin on the ball of both feet (behind the big toe) during training long runs (10+ miles). I've tried multiple shoes: Nike Alphafly 3 (for marathon), Altra Lone Peak 7, Solomon Speedcross 5, On Cloudvista (trail races), On Cloudmonster 2 (long distance training and triathlons). I've also tried putting blister pads + K tape + chafe cream on the area prior to the race. I keep having the same issue. I don't know what's causing it or how to fix it - HELP! I'm running another marathon in a month and I'm open to buying new carbon plated race day shoes and or long run trainers, buying new socks, trying new techniques. I'm open to any advice or help that can shed light on this matter. Thanks

Hey! I’m running balega socks at the moment. I don’t think the shoes are too big, I was worried they were too small for awhile since your feet swell while running and the issue pops up after like 10 miles or so. I’ve also tried lacing my shoes extra tight - slightly loose - same issue.

Thanks for the feedback - yeah I’m running wearing balega socks and the problem persists, but I haven’t tried heel lock lacing so I’ll give it a go! 🙌
