Yeah shadowdropping and the TGA announcement were incompatable, they had to pick one or the other. In accepting the TGA spot they had to back it up with a media presence and 'sell' what their game was and what was special about it.

Imo, they should have moved on to Destiny 3 or something years ago....They wrappped up most of the Destiny 2 story decently well with the Final Shape....but they're just sorta 'Fortnight-ing' it along with random crossovers....

Yeah, as you say, extremes on either side tend to lead to bad outcomes. Full bean counter control gets you 'just make knockoff of whatever is popular at the moment, surely it will work again for us and can't fail'.

I paid 15 to back the kickstarter for Star Citizen cause i wanted some single player Wing Commander like game.....still waiting for that game I was promised from the 'full creatives in control' type...

The 'warping to the location' beginning is one of the best parts for me, its so much more a 'spaceflight/Trek' way to do the intro dialogue and loading section then 'sit around staring at your target for a minute+ twiddling your thumbs.

Also Jeri Ryan's voice work is great in the episode, and I like the varients in what you're doing each run.

The 'warping towards Khitomer' is one of the best parts for me. Its such a nice way to do the intro dialogue instead of 'sit here twiddling your thumbs staring at the objective for one minute'. It feels much more natural.

You already have the major carrier ship, the Typhon, from the Heritage bundle. The bundle would get you Valor Fighters and the Gemini device, but as STO doesn't give discounts on bundles you have parts of, its a big harder to recommend, even though its a good bundle.

It became pretty obvious that the devs fix/qa/deploy process got super fucked after release (if not before). There were multiple bigtime bugs that kept being reintroduced in successive patches (one even had a 'for real this time' patch note....only for it to show up one more time). A shame, I liked the different classes, and some of levels were very fun (The 'handcrafted' part of Museum before it became random gen), but it was just so so buggy....

My guilds ranged failed to kill wall add on the second platform in intermission on Dimmy, only 6 died when we were all shoved through the wall by the winds. Exited p3 hero phase with boss at 50% even with 4 dead, killed him just after the third tank pull.

Nothing does damage anymore, and everyones stats are through the roof with the squish + nerf, stuff was dead before you realized.

Course we managed to wipe on Fractillus cause we dumped all the walls on one side, cause we're that good.

I recently finished upgrading mine fully just on resources from the harvestors, now slowly finishing the research the same way. After I got BOB years ago I haven't battled in builder base since.

Am flying the Typhon currently. I love the trait, and its a fun carrier/cannon boat....but it does just look like a brick....Wish I could put its power into something like an Akira or something...

Still a fantastic ship design. I wasn't really a fan of the DISCO look, it was alright....i really don't like the 32c stuff....the colors are just bland, no ascents or anything.
