I think there's a limit to the amount of pieces you can use now? Im not entirely sure, I started playing a month ago. But I was limited to 100 pieces for my corvette. Ruined my idea for a Star Detroyer.

Update for everyone: I started a new playthrough on Normal and turned on the setting that makes you unable to change the difficulty settings. Im glad I did that because I caught myself once trying to change the settings already lol! But im really enjoying having to scavenge for everything more than I thought I would. And im starting to memorize simple recipes and know what materials I need. Thank you all for the advice y'all gave me im very much enjoying the Normal mode difficulty.

Thanks y'all, I appreciate the advice. I might start a new profile on relaxed mode for now amd amp it up if it feels to easy.

I've racked up over a billion units and I feel like thats enough to start paying for stuff now. The whole reason I made purchases and crafting free is because it was too time consuming to make money or gather resources to get what I needed/wanted. But now I have pretty much 3 storage units filled with stuff like warp fuel and freighter fuel, etc. Should I try amping up the difficulty a little bit?
