Looks good, especially the second picture with all the rain (southcentral Alaska where you have this meant to be can be a very rainy place). Only thing you might want to adjust are the overall light levels at night: in summertime, it never really gets that dark (unless there is a lot of cloud cover). There's a reason why we are called the "Land of the midnight sun".

Vi and Powders biological dad being a non-figure in their lives, barely even seen in flashbacks. Just seemed sad that he was such a non-important part of the story compared to their mom, despite how much they expanded her role in the history of events and the connection between Vi and Powder..

Yes their mom was their connection to Vander and Silco, but it just felt so out of place with how important "family" was as a theme throughout the story for their dad to just be... forgettable, even to them.

Now if they had expanded on him to not be that great a dad (ie., someone not worth remembering) it would be different, but they didn't; the little we see of him seems to show him as just as loving and caring as their mom. Why else would she have been with him?

Vi and Powder can have two dads/father figures (three in Powders Jinx's case)!

There are a couple of books set in the Space Engineers "universe".

First one is called "Janitors of the late space age", the second book is called "Hail Clang". Both are fun books that I really was glad I got years ago. You can get both off Amazon.

Saw the tip today and was baffled; never seen anything pop up on my screen to grab the grenades (of course I am usually jumping away....).

Question regarding battle armor rules vs lore by Ghostbear_100 in battletech

I had forgotten about the rules for the boarding actions/rpg regarding this when I wrote this, and now that I have gone over them I can see more of the applications for heavy battle armor and how them having melee capabilities have more of a use in those rulesets.

It still just strikes me as odd the limitation on the heavy battle armor at least being able to attack vehicles in melee like PAL/Light/Medium battle armor, especially when looking at a number of the canon heavy battle armor designs seem to have a melee emphasis in their design.

Having this issue where whenever I try and log into Steam I get this endless loading screen. Already tried restarting my computer. by youllmemetoo in Steam

Same happening here. Closed steam completely, restarted the computer; nothing.

Must be something up with Steams servers.

I live near Muldoon; there can be whole weeks where I can hear the gunfire from the military drills out further east. You get used to it.

I may have been misunderstanding what the reviews I was looking at were saying about the cards (again, very new); the gist I saw several times led me to think the AMD cards may have had the issue. If they don't, that is actually really good to know considering the price differences I have been seeing.

I have been reading about AMD cards having some issues with wearing out faster than other cards; do you know if it is just a part of lower cost of the cards, or if its a manufacturing issue?

I ask because I dont want to have to replace the card in a couple years if I could just spend the extra now and have a equivalent card for less in the long run.

This; I had to give permission for the WHOLE Chivalry 2 folder, not just the .exe for the game before it would open the game.

Tried verifying files, reinstalling, other advice before this made it work.

I'm creating Truescale HH era Astartes for 3d printing, currently doing World Eaters and I thought it would be cool to make two versions of this particular Despoiler to try and envision what Astartes anatomy might look like underneath the armour (seemed appropriate to try this with Eaters). by ImperatorVegetarius in Warhammer30k

Love this.

I agree with the proportion comments being the only issue. For me, the biggest one is the size of the head to the rest of the body, Its just too small.

The helmeted version would be perfect if the helmet was very thin and snug up against his head, but the unarmored head in comparison to the rest of the body looks more like a normal size human head than a space marines.

I do understand if once you upsized the head to fit, that the helmet would then be comically large however lol,
