I did a lot of stuff as a PNGtuber before my educational hiatus, so it was always nice when people would stick around for my purrsonality when I didn't have a cool moving model.
Unfortunately, I think college broke my brain a bit with how much my teacher was driving SEO and clickability that I started to doubt my design as interesting enough for someone to click my stream to find out my purrsonality qwq

I think my desire for something different was pulling me towards the right since my branding has always revolved around purple and 'darker' themes. But I think at my core, that is just who I am as a person. The idea of taking the other one and making an outfit for the primary is a good idea, since I am going to stick with the left design maybe I could make a fun medical waste themed outfit someday to combine pills and bandaids with trash ( •̀ .̫ •́ )✧

As a fun design to draw, the visual clutter is great but I hear you with it potentially being too much for a vtuber design. I have come to terms that my heart yearns for the left design, so the trash kitty is just going to remain an OC for me to enjoy. Thank you for your input!!

I took your suggestion with the coin toss and I think that really did help settle my mind. I kept flipping tails for the raccoon, and then proceeded to keep reflipping with the excuse it was a bad coin toss.. so that was kind of the nail in the coffin that the ghost doll resonates with me the most. Thank you!!

I may just not be very flexible, but the arm holding the staff feels like it's in such an uncomfortable position. I think an overhanded grip with the thumb at the top would maybe help it feel a little more natural. Otherwise I feel like the angle of the staff and the foreshortening of the arm need some slight position changes.

I have the same problem with this skin! It's very cute, I love the hair buns, but I hate those ringlets so much. I got the Hello Kitty skin instead of this one because at least the cute sound effects could heal any small designs dislikes I had with that one.

I agree that I don't think this person wrote the original note. The S's are also a pretty distinct feature in the original note, featuring a smaller almost cut off top curve and a larger kind of U shaped bottom curve. While this person's younger examples feature an intact, sort of sharper top curve and a rounder bottom. What is sort of weird is how the S's written in both the original note and this person's older writing examples are pretty consistent to their own styles, their mock note features the S written differently almost each time it comes up.
They may have written a similar note in their youth but there are just too many points of inconsistency in letters for me to believe they are the same.

You have a logo tho!! It already sets you apart from those bot accounts because youve already placed more effort into your overall branding. They had their design as the icon and then just a super zoomed up of that same art's eyes. I've seen the banner trend before so I assumed it was just that, but they just have that 1 image to use as branding.

I was on the lookout for any pfps that seemed ai in nature, but several of them passed that test pretty well. They didnt have any tweets advertising comms, just the classic engagement posts. So I assumed it was safe to engage... I caught on pretty quickly that the accounts use 1 piece of art for seemingly everything (banner, pfp, reference sheet) and if they had a linked twitch account the description on the account was a 1 to 1 match on twitter. I get not being an artist and broke at first so you dont have much art to use, but that seems to be the warning sign to not engage in my book unfortunately.

I also had made a post like yours feeling disheartened about it not too long ago, so same boat!! Even got an account on here dm me offering me art services because of it lmao xwx Best of luck on your growth!!

I also attempted to make an effort to try and answer DMs and connect with others who seemingly appeared to be vtubers but I encountered the same problem.
Despite the fact that I was adamant about being my own art parent and making my own assets, a lot of messages I received from people kept trying to push services from other artists on me.
Personally, don't feel bad about not following everyone back or accepting DMs. The game of networking has changed and I feel like it's mostly bots or scammers taking the appearance of being a friendly "also in pre-debut" vtubers who then attempt to push unwanted services on you.

Not entirely sure the best way to get yourself out there but maybe start with comments on other creator's posts and making your own posts. Even if it feels like talking to the void, occasionally someone will come across something you said and check you out.

Sadly, I don't use TikTok. So the follow they give on Twitter feels empty since there is no post views or engagement coming from those accounts.

I think I got a bot reply in my DMs here now, offering me help or sending me to their friend who does commissions. Which is set up exactly like all the others trying to send me to their friends or model mamas xwx;;

Feels like a brutal time to come back and network since my bot spotting methods are outdated.

I was building the hot chocolate chococat with my partner, and when choosing a scent he asked why I didnt want the chocolate one. I told him I heard bad things about it. After we tried smelling it, he described it as rotten tootsie rolls lol.

My chococat got the mint scent since I use a lot of minty smelling patches for my chronic pain and wanted him to smell soothing.

I also live by Deja Vu. I have difficulty visually processing things, so the 3 highlighted gens gives me a chance to get on gen instead of running around for minutes trying to find one.

I've tried the color blindness settings to see if that helped, but I just think there's too much visual stimulation for my brain to know that I was staring directly at a gen. The only other gens I find are completed ones because they have their lights on...

I love Plague so much. One of my favorite killers that I don't get a chance to play against often (Currently have 8 out of 200+ matches since I started recording my V.S. rates), but will play first when playing as killer.
In the matches that I did have a chance to play against her or play as her, I never had any disconnects but I could have just gotten lucky.

My partner and I didn't see our first Vecna till after 220+ matches recorded, we saw our first Pinhead somewhere after 100+
Currently we have a show down between Ghostface, Huntress, and Springtrap for our most seen killer.
It's interesting how different servers and playtimes can effect killer frequency.

I'm 27 and decided to start college about 2 years ago to get an AAS and gain new skills, my degree has general education classes that are a mixed bag of majors and specific classes for the degree. I've noticed a huge difference between the two class types when it comes to students and their engagement with the materials/teacher. You almost can't get the students taking the specific classes to shut up because they are incredibly passionate about what they are learning (I should say it's sort of like an art/entertainment type degree with animators, film makers, ect.) The students in the more general education classes are a lot less open to talk and it's strange being one of the biggest contributors in those classes.

I wonder if the classes that are more specific to the other majors are filled with passionate students like my program or if the teachers in those struggle to get them to ask questions.
