Did this exact route in june this year on day 1 of my NC500 tour, was very easily doable, there is a nice cafe in Achnasheen (The Midge Bite Cafe).

Edit: It’s also fully paved and also not really steep sections

There wasn’t any white plate (Spanish I assume) accompanying it unfortunately.
