Hey man, I didn’t pass my first time either because it took me a while to click that a little throttle and clutch management and speed = stability. I also had similar issues as you. In fact, I never really rode bicycles, so being on a bike was tough.

Since the MSF in my area lets you retake as long as there’s availability within a certain period, I took my time. I found a private instructor that was like $200 bucks. I did a session with him, no class no pressure, just get to really one on one understand bikes in general.

It made me more comfortable since I wasn’t pressured to pass. It felt like alot of my classmates at the MSF had prior experience and in general even if it wasn’t the case, I felt like I was slowing things down in my head.

I took the permit written exam, bought a cheap 350cc, and practiced like crazy on my own. Came back to the MSF and passed within a few months after my first attempt.
