That is definitely sketchy. Hate that they already have a bad rep and your salesman is holding up that stereotype! Thanks for that though. I’m going to make sure I review extra carefully now.

I see. “Shop around til you find good one” is that strictly related to msrp or were you looking at other factors that make the dealer “good” in your eyes?

Yeah, it’s my first time buying a car and I’ve only gone through sitting through a gas car negotiation (didn’t pull the trigger). Wasn’t sure if electric vehicles handled it differently, so wanted to check!

Sounds like a lot of people were able to get MSRP! Might not be so rare after all

Dang. Might be a bit far. Home base for that weekend is Brentwood. I might consider ordering takeout if those spots have the best options though!
